Proofreading

This is the standard service for content that requires a thorough once-over from a professionally trained editor. It is often the final check before a document is printed or published – essential to pick up those unnoticed mistakes and typos.

All the key editing checks are done but there is no detailed fact-checking, rewriting or restructuring. Suitable for most copy that is almost ready to publish, including reports, books and catalogues.

Transcribing

I am experienced in transcribing historic letters and manuscripts. This process demands a high level of attention to detail, understanding of the context and taking great care of the material.
